The Cessna 150 and 152 became the most popular civilian training aircraft after World War II, as well as economical recreational vehicles for weekend pilots. The planes feature a high wing for great visibility and a fixed tricycle landing gear for easier landing and steering on the ground. The series still serves as the principal two-seat, general aviation trainer in the United States. The Cessna model 152 was built from 1978 to 1986 and featured 110 hp Lycoming 0-325 engine which could operate easily on low/no lead gasoline.
