How To Join

Complete a membership application for the Board of Directors to review and approve, and provide a check for the initiation fee.

A full initiation fee of $350.00 is due for regular membership. Such members are authorized to fly all club aircraft with appropriate checkout flights.

A deferred initiation fee of $200.00 is available to pilots who are full time high school or college students with less than 100 hours of total flight time. Once paid such members are only authorized to fly the Cessna 152 and the Cardinal Classic. The balance of the normal initiation fee ($150.00) becomes due when any of the following conditions are met: (1) the members first anniversary of joining Knoxville Flyers, Inc. or (2) surpassing 100 hours of total flight time or (3) achieving the Private Pilot rating.
