- Complete a membership
application for the Board of Directors to review and approve, and
provide a check for the initiation fee.
- A full initiation fee of
$350.00 is due for regular membership. Such members are authorized to
fly all club aircraft with appropriate checkout flights.
- A deferred initiation fee
of $200.00 is available to pilots who are full time high school or college
students with less than 100 hours of total flight time. Once paid such
members are only authorized to fly the Cessna 152 and the Cardinal Classic.
The balance of the normal initiation fee ($150.00) becomes due when any of the following conditions are met: (1) the members first anniversary of joining Knoxville Flyers, Inc. or (2) surpassing 100 hours of total flight time or (3) achieving the Private Pilot rating.

- $56.00 per month (effective
December, 2003). Dues cover the fixed club costs (tie-downs, insurance,
etc.) and are subject to change. Half price dues are charged to family members of current club members and members who are full time high school or college students that join with the deferred initation fee. Dues for the high school and college students go to the full price on the date the balance of the initiation fee is due, see conditions under Membership Requirements.

- Only Knoxville Flyers, Inc.
Club members may fly Knoxville Flyers, Inc. aircraft. A member's insurance
is void unless he or she has received a check-out by a Knoxville Flyers,
Inc. Club approved instructor in and for the airplane to be flown. Coverage
may be voided by other circumstances. Contact a club officer if you
need more information.
- Check-out in N3191R (Cessna
182, C-182) requires at least the following logged time in a C-182 prior
to acting as pilot in command of N3191R: (1) 10 hours in N3191R if the
member has less than 100 hours of total logged time, or (2) 5 hours
in N3191R if the member has 100 hours or more of total logged flight
time.
